But the greatest of these is love

For Christians, the ultimate goal of faith is salvation. To achieve this goal, the hope of the kingdom of heaven and faith based on such hope are needed. In addition, the practice of faith is the love toward God and neighbors. Therefore, love is possible only when there are the hope of the kingdom of heaven and faith behind it. God considered love as the greatest virtue of believers.

And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love.

(1 Corinthians 13:13)

Then, can those who have love only achieve the goal of salvation? The answer is ‘No.’ The Apostle John emphasized faith as of the most importance to get salvation.

… that whoever believes in him may have eternal life. (John 3:15)

However, it’s hard to reach salvation with faith alone. Today’s Christians fall in this error. An expression of faith requires the hope of the kingdom of heaven.

so that, having been justified by his grace, we might become heirs having the hope of eternal life. (Titus 3:7)

That is, we cannot enter the kingdom of heaven without having the hope of eternal life. ‘The greatest of these are love,’ ‘whoever believes in him may have eternal life,’ ‘we might become heirs having the hope of eternal life’: Among these words, what should we follow to get salvation? Since the greatest is love, is it enough to have love alone? Or, is it okay to have only faith since it’s written, ‘whoever believes in him may have eternal life’?

We must think about organic combination among faith, hope and love. If faith and hope are missing from love, it’s not different from the one who eats sodium (Na) and chlorine (Cl) after separating salt (NaCl) into each element (Na and Cl.) When edible salt is divided into sodium and chlorine, they become harmful materials. Therefore, we can achieve the goal of salvation by practicing love based on faith and hope.

In addition, there is one thing we should remember: Love toward God must be go first with regard to the practice of love. Loving neighbors based on such love is the whole duty of Christians.

Jesus replied: ” ‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.’ This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’ All the Law and the Prophets hang on these two commandments.” (Matthew 22:37-40)

Are there any Christians who do not love God? However, love with lips only is not love which loves Elohim God.

If you love me, you will obey what I command. (John 14:15)

Salvation begins with obeying God’s commandments. Obeying what Elohim God commanded enables us to love Him and is the top priority of believers who wish to enter the kingdom of heaven.

Do you truly love me?

Two thousand years ago, Jesus said to Simon Peter three times, “Do you truly love me?” At his questions, Peter repeated the same answer: “Yes, Lord, you know that I love you.” After confirming his consistent and passionate mind, Jesus entrusted him with His sheep by saying, “Feed my sheep.”

      

When they had finished eating, Jesus said to Simon Peter, “Simon son of John, do you truly love me more than these?” “Yes, Lord,” he said, “you know that I love you.” Jesus said, “Feed my lambs.” Again Jesus said, “Simon son of John, do you truly love me?” He answered, “Yes, Lord, you know that I love you.” Jesus said, “Take care of my sheep.” The third time he said to him, “Simon son of John, do you love me?” Peter was hurt because Jesus asked him the third time, “Do you love me?” He said, “Lord, you know all things; you know that I love you.” Jesus said, “Feed my sheep. (John 21:15-17)

This becomes a good model for pastors and priests who say they love Christ today. In revival services, sermons or prayers, they do not forget to say, “Lord, I love You.” I even saw pastors who raising their arms towards sky and shouted “I love Christ.”  If they love Jesus so much, they are expected to feed the sheep. Then, how to feed the sheep?

He went to Nazareth, where he had been brought up, and on the Sabbath day he went into the synagogue, as was his custom. And he stood up to read… (Luke 4:16)

So the disciples did as Jesus had directed them and prepared the Passover… While they were eating, Jesus took bread, gave thanks and broke it, and gave it to his disciples, saying, “Take and eat; this is my body.” Then he took the cup, gave thanks and offered it to them, saying, “Drink from it, all of you. This is my blood of the covenant, which is poured out for many for the forgiveness of sins. (Matthew 26:19-28)

If you love me, you will obey what I command. (John 14:15)

Jesus established the new covenant to give life to the sheep and to give the forgiveness of sins and eternal life to them. And He taught us that we should keep the rules and regulations of the new covenant if we love Him. The Apostle Peter loved Jesus with all his heart. Thus, he kept the Sabbath day and the Passover of the new covenant, and fed the sheep by preaching the rules of the new covenant. The Apostle Paul, who loved Jesus more than others, also fed the sheep with the regulations of the new covenant (1 Corinthians 5:7-8; Acts 17:2.)

Unfortunately,  pastors and priests, who confess that they love Jesus more than their own lives, consider the Sabbath and the Passover of the new covenant established by Jesus heretic while faithfully keeping the Sunday service and Christmas, the rules of pagan religions. Anyone can say love with lips. However, those who contradict what they say cannot be said that they truly love Jesus. If pastors of today truly love Jesus like the Apostles Peter and Paul, they have to show actions first by following the words of Jesus, don’t they?

Why do you call me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ and do not do what I say? (Luke 6:46)

‘Mother,’ the great and strongest person [Christ Ahnsahnghong & God the Mother]

While a mother living with her two sons was just outside the house, the house was set on fire.

Receiving an urgent call, the mother arrived. Without hesitation and thinking that the two sons would be sleeping, she jumped into the fire and came out with her sons all wrapped in a blanket.

The sons who got rescued were unharmed. But the mother’s entire body was burned, and her leg was wounded, which eventually made her limp.

From that moment, the mother raised her sons by begging for money. With the sacrifice of their mother, the eldest son got in the Tokyo University, and the second to the Waseda University, both as the head of their classes.

Time passed, and it was the day for the sons’ graduation. The mother who wanted to see her sons graduate, she first went to Tokyo University. Graduating from the head of his classes, the eldest son already got approved by a large company.

The eldest son saw his mother looking for him by the reception.

As it was a place with honored guests, he was embarrassed. He told the reception to tell her that “there is no such person,” and so the mother went back with a sad face.

Being forsaken from her eldest son, with sorrow, she went to the Waseda University for her second son’s graduation.

However she couldn't possibly find her son so she turned her steps towards the school gate.

Just at that moment, the second son found his mother leaving the place,hobbling in a great hurry. The son shouted for his mother and carrying her on his back, he took her inside.

Though the mother said “You have the wrong person,” the son sat her in the middle of the honored guests. As the honored guests all adorned with costly jewels started to chatter to each other, the mother didn't know what to do.

Making a valedictory speech, he pointed at his shabby mother who sat on the seat for honored guests and talked about his mother’s sacrifice; how she rescued him from fire, begged for their living, and educated him.

The people who had hatred towards his mother, after realizing about his mother’s sacrifice, they were all moved into tears.

This news became known with newspaper and broadcasting. The second son became the son-in-law of a large company’s owner; however the eldest who was ashamed of his mother got a cancellation for his previous approval of a large company.

Rescuing the son despite of getting the body all injured, begging to educate the son, doing everything, whatever sacrifice it takes for the child, that person is ‘Mother.’

DLSUMC and World Mission hold blood drive for elderly patients  February 18, 2014

 

De La Salle University Medical Center (DLSUMC) was the site of a blood donation drive on January 19 for its elderly patients in the Service Ward.

Initiated by the World Mission Society Church of God, the blood drive aimed to help elderly patients who need blood transfusion due to various illnesses, as well as promote awareness on how the blood that one donates can save lives aside from the healthy benefits that a donor enjoys.

The Blood Bank has reported that a total of 44 bags of 450 cc. blood were collected from the volunteers during this event.

The volunteer service of WMSCOG is very helpful good deed for people's benefits. But, other slanderer speak ill of World Mission Society Church of God. I hope people know that WMSCOG is very sound and wholesome church.

 

The love of sacrifice that saved life

The power of love is great, In particular, the stories about parents who sacrificed themselves to save their children move many people, transcending ages and regions.

-Great Earthquake in Sichuan, China, on May 12, 2008-

During the rescue operation at a collapsed house in Beichuan, Sichuan, China, rescuers found a dead woman who was lying with her baby in her arms.
It looked like she had made a desperate effort to save her baby, blocking the falling house with her whole body.
The baby was breathing comtably in her arms. The rescuers discovered a cell phone it the baby's blanket while transporting the baby to a hospital.
A short message was left on her cell phone as follows
"My precious daughter, if you survive, please remember that your mom loved you."
Looking at this message, everybody burst into tears. The great love of the mother, who sacrificed herself, saved her child

The great love of Our Heavenly Mother, who sacrificed herself, saved her Heavenly children. Thank you  Heavenly Mother about your boundless love for your children

Going to Mother with My First Heart [Christ Ahnsahnghong & God the Mother]

It happened some years ago. 

By a suggestion from an acquaintance, I got a check-up. Till then, in my own way, I had confidence with my health, so I wasn’t worried about the results. 


However, I got a flustering notification. 

They said that it couldn’t be told on phone, so they told me to come to the hospital, not even with the person who got the same check-up, but alone. 

When I went back to the hospital, I heard something that was hard to believe. 

‘Cervical Cancer’

I couldn’t believe it, so for a few days, I was looking blank. 

Holding the doctor’s opinion in my hand, I went to a larger hospital and set an appointment for the surgery. 

Until I was fully recovered after the surgery, it was a hard time for me internally and physically. 

The doctor said that it was extremely rare that a small hospital could find that small cancer cell and that I must thank that doctor…

And if the cancer cell remained unfound, it might have risked my life. 

I know that the one that I had to thank wasn’t the doctor, but Heavenly Mother. 

For a while I was far away from God the Mother, but I have never forgotten Mother’s grace. 

God the Mother, who holds my hands whenever I am sick spiritually or physically. 

I thank God the Mother for not letting me forget Her, and for Her giving me strength to rise up again. 

Help me to rise up my knees and start afresh with my first heart. 

I believe that God the  Mother, You are the One who can melt away harden heart, and the one who can guide me to again to feel the kind love of Zion.


Thank you God the Mother.

Only Bright Smile Must Appear on Mother’s Face - Heavenly Mother

When the mother and the child were passing by a candy shop, the child started pestering,
“Mummy, I want candy. Candy!!”
“No. Since mommy’s got no money, I’ll get you next time.”
“Candy!! Candy!!”
Without concerning her words, the child kept on insisting.
The mother’s face hardened.
Once the child pestered, she wouldn’t stop.
“Mommy said, I got no money! Stop pestering!”
“Waahhh!!!”

The child sadly cried after getting a spank on her butt.
Sensing her mother, the child stopped crying.
Though the child stopped crying, the mother started to cry..
“Mummy. Don’t cry…”
The child wiped the mother’s tears with her hands and cuddled in her mother’s arms.

After few days, the mother and the child passed by a toy shop.
Feeling sorry for the last time, the mother asked the child.
“Have anything you want me to buy for you?”
“No Mummy. After you’ve got a lot of money you can buy me one!”
Considering the child’s age, she should have behaved like a child.

But the child already became mature, which made the mother feel bad.
After that very day, the child never asked her mother to buy something for her.
Not even once…

Though I can barely remember that incident, my mother always wipes her tears whenever she tells me about that day.

During hard times, I can imagine how heartbroken she must have been not being able to buy even a candy or a small toy for me.

Though ten years have passed, she must have regretted so much because she moves into tears whenever she talks about that day.

The painful memory engraved in my mother’s heart makes my heart feel bitter.
“Mother, don’t cry no more.
I am a happy person who grew up with your love, and that love retains in my heart.
I earnestly hope that only bright smile can appear on your face.”
