[USA NEWS] Church volunteers help paint houses for Keep Vinton Beautiful_WMSCOG

VILLAGE OF VINTON, Texas - Volunteers from World Mission Society Church of God lent a helping hand Sunday to keep Vinton beautiful.

The mission of Keep Vinton Beautiful is to encourage Village of Vinton residents to take responsibility for the improvement of the community's environment.

Sunday, 20 people from a local church, took the time to literally paint the town.

"Everyone is very joyful, always smiling, always laughing when they're working," Uriel Acuna, Jr. said. The church group donated four hours painting.

"We really appreciate churches like the Church of God that are taking their time, like today on Sunday, instead of being with their families to come in and help us make a better community," KVB member Anibal Olague said.

KVB is sponsored by the Village of Vinton and is working towards becoming a non profit.
 The organization established by city council in 2007 provided the paint and supplies. Members do events year round, such as trash-offs and river cleanups.

"Keep Vinton Beautiful has received awards numerous awards for their efforts in environmental, green building and other efforts to educate the public," Olague said.

"Church members get very happy when they know they can help. They like to share the love of God with everyone. They like to help their community a lot," Acuna said.

Houses painted Sunday were picked from a list of applicants.

Olague said only those with low income were chosen to receive aid. Sunday's help provided to the homeowners was part of Keep Vinton Beautiful's Helping Hand Initiative.

Volunteers assist elderly, disabled and low income homeowners spruce up the exterior of their homes.

Bergen County Senior Picnic World Mission Society Church of God (WMSCOG)

In Sept 17, 2013 Bergen County and the Board of Chosen Freeholders hold a senior picnic for nearly 3,000 senior citizens. 

The fifty yellow-shirted volunteers from the World Mission Society Church of God went to assist at the event to share the love of God with the people who built today's society through their hard work and sacrifice.

Volunteers were responsible for welcoming seniors and staff with uplifting cheers, serving lunches and maintaining park facilities.

Church of God members spared no effort to make the seniors feel comfortable, taken care of well and at ease. 

Senior citizens were extremely pleased with the volunteers, who excitedly took time to converse and get to know them.

"We want the whole world to feel the great love of Heavenly Mother!"

About the verse “If anyone tells you, ‘There he is’ or ‘Here he is’”, do not believe it” - Christ Ahnsahnghong

Jesus warned that false Christs and false prophets would appear and mislead many people:
At that time if anyone says to you, 'Look, here is the Christ!' or, 'There he is!' do not believe it. 24 For false Christs and false prophets will appear and perform great signs and miracles to deceive even the elect--if that were possible. 25 See, I have told you ahead of time. 26 "So if anyone tells you, 'There he is, out in the desert,' do not go out; or, 'Here he is, in the inner rooms,' do not believe it. (Matthew 24:23-26)

However, some unfairly use this verse to oppose the Second Coming Christ. If, we literally must not believe it when we are told “Here is the Christ”, where do we have to go? Do we need to go to the place where it says “Here isn’t the Christ and there he isn’t”? Are there any churches which do not say “Here is the Christ”?
Therefore, Jesus did not give us this word with the intent that we must deny Christ when He comes in any cases. As written, it’s clearly about warning people of false Christs.

Then, where can we find the true Christ and not false Christs?
And so all Israel will be saved, as it is written: "The deliverer [Savior: GNT] will come from Zion; he will turn godlessness away from Jacob. (Romans 11:26)
It’s prophesied that the Savior would come from Zion. Where is Zion in which the Savior dwells?
Look upon Zion, the city of our festivals … There the LORD will be our Mighty One… For the LORD is our judge, the LORD is our lawgiver, the LORD is our king; it is he who will save us. (Isaiah 33:20-22)

Zion where the Savior dwells is the place where we celebrate the feasts of God. God’s feasts include a weekly feast of the Sabbath and seven annual feasts of the Passover, the Feast of Unleavened Bread, the Day of Firstfruits, the Pentecost, the Feast of Trumpets, the Day of Atonement and the Feast of Tabernacles. The place where people celebrate such feasts as written in the Bible is “Zion.”

However, the place where people do not observe the feasts of God while saying “Here is the Christ” is the one where they believe in ‘false Christs’ or ‘another Jesus (2 Corinthians 11:4).’ The Bible prophesies as follows about the appearance of Christ who gives us the water of life:
The Spirit and the bride say, "Come!" And let him who hears say, "Come!" Whoever is thirsty, let him come; and whoever wishes, let him take the free gift of the water of life. (Revelation 22:17)
You can meet the Sprit and the bride who give us the water life only in Zion.

This subject is not related with people who meet the true Christ in Zion, but the other people who didn't receive the Second Coming Christ that was prophecied in Bible have to take care not to receive false christ. As aforementioned, please find the Zion where we celebrate the fests of God, then, you can meet the true Christ in there(WMSCOG).

Mother’s Prayer for loving children with Christ Ahnshannghong.

Whenever I listen to the fragrance of Zion, I always recall my mom.

I truly wanted my mom to receive the truth, who has been leading her life by the sweat of the brow alone; it was so much tiring with doing a farming work all through her life.

However, she didn’t even want to listen to the words of the truth, while accepting all others.   Even if I tried to preach to her many times,she rather scolded me.

Feeling depressed, I got mad at her and even appealed to her, but then she just threw doubt on me asking if I go to a strange church.  In spite of having no religion, she rather tried to stop my belief, insisting that I should not go to any other churches except Methodist or Presbyterian ones where my relatives go to.

 Whenever she did that,I felt hopeless and regrettable wondering how she could not trust her child at all.  I felt so envious of spiritual brothers and sisters leading their physical families to Zion.

One day, when she visited a hospital not feeling well, she was advised to undergo an operation by her doctor.  She seemed to feel weaken and have many thoughts about the operation. Since she was long way past seventy, other families got worried about her so much.

To meet my mom staying in sister’s house to get an operation, I got on the bus and prayed to Heavenly Mother.  When I arrived there, she welcomed me so much but I felt uncomfortable in mind.  My sister staying home went to church but didn’t try to reject my religion nor listen to the truth.

My mind was so much troubled wishing mom to receive the truth and worrying if she refuses it at all. Heavenly Mother was the only one I could trust so I prayed to Her with earnest mind. At that moment, my sister said she had an appointment to make and left home.

Feeling this must be the great chance to preach from Heavenly Mother for sure, I preached about Heavenly Father and Heavenly Mother to my mom and my mind was shaking with an exciting mind.  Watching mom who was hesitating, I felt like the heaven was about to destroy but I tried to persuade her again by praying for Heavenly Mother.

Finally, she said she wanted to be baptized and at this, tears came to my eyes.

All of these were truly the grace of Heavenly Mother.

When I was about to leave home, I could not find a key.  She kind of hesitated to go, saying she could not go with the door opened so I asked her to come with me and finally brought the cab.

Her body was not healthy with several times of operations and farming work for all her life, so she almost crawled on the steps to the church on the 5th floor.  However, she didn’t say it was hard at all and finally got baptized just like a lamb.

Suddenly, I felt urgent with the fact that I left home with the door open. When I was about to come out of the Zion quickly, I couldn’t see mom but there found her praying for God.  From that scene, I got shocked because then I realized I myself had no belief at all.  Even though Heavenly Mother prepared all given conditions, I had no belief.

I felt so shameful and regrettable.   Returning home, nothing seemed wrong and it was before my sister came back home. Once again, I gave thanks to heavenly Mother and felt so sorry.   I sincerely give thanks to Heavenly Mother who prays with tears for this sinful child to get the belief firmly into the mind.

Longing for God the Mother [Christ Ahnshanghong]

Among the flying birds in the sea, there’s a bird called pelican.

We remember it as a bird with a funny appearance, because of its drooping neck pocket.

However, in that funny appearance, there is a hidden love that nothing can follow.

When its hatchling reaches to the point of starvation, it pecks its kidney and saves its 

hatchling with its own blood.

Of course couple’s love can be close to it; however, among the existing love in this world, 

the only ‘unconditional’ love would be mother's instinctive love.

Mother’s love would be the love that freely gives up on its own.

I also have a name that I miss.

When a ray of sunlight shines the window in the morning, I call the name in a quiet voice,

Mother…

Taking care of toddlers, I severely scold them whenever they make mistakes.

My heart hurts, but I decided that it is for the child’s own good to point out their faults.

However, rather than scolding them all the time, I found out that when I embrace them, the children seemed to change.

Scolding may change a person that moment, but it doesn’t last long.

Though love does not change a person right away, as time passes by, that person realizes, and that realization stays touched in his heart. I think that eventually changes that person.

While walking on the gospel road, there are cases when we have different thoughts from each other, and things don’t turn out as the way we want to.

Whenever that happens, it makes me concerned.

Is it helpful to tell the brother or sister about their mistakes, or is it better to just wait restraining myself?

Both seem to be right, but I find myself brooding which one is right.

The answer was in Mother’s love; what I’ve seen, heard and felt.

Whenever I made mistakes, Mother never told my faults.

She waited until I realized by myself, and hid and embraced my faults.

As time passed by, and when I lately realized my faults, Mother’s love came to me, moving me.

That love gave me strength, for me to put on effort to change myself.

Though every moment, I try to resemble Mother’s heart, when I face difficult situation, it doesn’t turn out what I thought to be.

This is the evidence that I haven’t change into love yet.

Now, carrying emotionally surging Mother’s love, 

I also will become the child who shares that kind of love.

Do we have to worship a wall of a city? Christ Ahnshanghong and God the Mother.

…and give him no rest till he establishes Jerusalem and makes her the praise of the earth. (Isaiah 62:7)

At a glance, some might think the above verse is about a prophecy that God will build the city of Jerusalem. But it’s just a fragmented understanding.

If we look at the mate of this verse in the Scriptures, we can understand the meaning behind it.

But the Jerusalem that is above is free, and she is our mother. (Galatians 4:26)

A long ago time, the prophet Isaiah prophesied that God would establish Heavenly Mother just as Adam had named his wife ‘Eve’:

Adam named his wife Eve, because she would become the mother of all the living. (Genesis 3:20)

We need to know that Jerusalem recorded in the book of Isaiah does not merely refer to a city located in Palestine near the Mediterranean, but also contains a prophecy about Heavenly Mother. Those who consider Jerusalem as a mere building are to fall into a big error.

Your gates will always stand open, they will never be shut, day or night, so that men may bring you the wealth of the nations? their kings led in triumphal procession. For the nation or kingdom that will not serve you will perish; it will be utterly ruined. (Isaiah 60:11-12)

Isaiah 60 is about the future glory of Jerusalem. The word “you” above refers to the city of Jerusalem. If you think Jerusalem is just a wall of a city, which exists in Israel, it’s concluded that you should worship a building to get salvation because it’s written, “For the nation or kingdom that will not serve you will perish.”

Isn’t it strange? How can God, who forbade idolatry (Exodus 20:4), command us to worship a wall of a city? Such an error occurs because people consider Jerusalem as a mere city. They will result in destruction according to the warning of God regarding those who distort the Bible to their own destruction (2 Peter 3:16.)

One of the seven angels who had the seven bowls full of the seven last plagues came and said to me, “Come, I will show you the bride, the wife of the Lamb.” 10 And he carried me away in the Spirit to a mountain great and high, and showed me the Holy City, Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God. (Revelation 21:9-10)

Jerusalem in the Bible stands for Heavenly Mother, who gives us the water of life in this age as the wife of the Lamb.

The Spirit and the bride say, “Come!” And let him who hears say, “Come!” Whoever is thirsty, let him come; and whoever wishes, let him take the free gift of the water of life. (Revelation 22:17)

The Courage to Face the Truth - Christ Ahnshanghong and God the Mother.

Why do they deny and reject God the Mother whom the Bible teaches? Some would not acknowledge the truth even though the existence of God the Mother is proven from the Bible. Also, there are people who say that they just do not want to talk anymore because they have never heard such teachings while attending the church for several decades. The truth of God the Mother might sound very strange. So they sometimes say, “It’s a new view” or “it’s a new theory” since it’s very different from what they have known so far.

However, nobody boasts of ignorance. We need to listen to the words of the Bible with a humble mind if we have never been taught, don’t we? The truth of the Scriptures about God the Mother is “not” new. It’s recorded in the book of Genesis and also appears in the New Testament. It’s a precious truth which has been shared in the history of the Bible.

Then God said, “Let us make man in our image, in our likeness… So God created man in his own image, in the image of God he created him; male and female he created them. (Genesis 1:26-27)

But the Jerusalem that is above [the heavenly Jerusalem: GNT] is free, and she is our mother. (Galatians 4:26)

God the Mother, witnessed in the Bible, was the truth that was also present in the time of the Early Church. But the church became secularized in around the 4th century when it was united with the political power of the Roman Empire. During secularization, the church accepted pagan rituals and ideas which were rampant throughout the Empire.  Non-biblical doctrines appeared and, weirdly enough, Mary, who was just the physical mother of Jesus, took the place of God the Mother. Of course, the doctrine of virgin Mary was affected by pagan religion called the worship of “mother and son.”

God the Mother whom the Bible testifies about is the Savior and the Creator, while Mary, the mother of Jesus, was a mere creature like us.  Jesus also warned us not to regard His physical family members as someone godlike:

As Jesus was saying these things, a woman in the crowd called out, “Blessed is the mother who gave you [Jesus] birth and nursed you.” He replied, “Blessed rather are those who hear the word of God and obey it.” (Luke 11:27-28)

The Roman Catholic Church distorted the truth of God the Mother and instead put up a false doctrine to believe in the false mother by calling a mere woman Mary “the Holy Mother.” Since then, the Catholic Church had exercised absolute power for more than one thousand years and no one had argued about its doctrines. But the corruption of the Roman Catholic Church reached its height during the late Middle Ages and at last its secular power collapsed when the Reformers appeared to obtain religious freedom and to restore the truth which had disappeared. They were the founders of Protestantism.

The Protestant churches declared that they were different from the Catholic Church. But their doctrines such as the Apostles’ Creed, Sunday service and Christmas were directly adopted from the non-biblical doctrines of the Roman Catholic Church.  In other words, their Reformation was incomplete because their restoration was imperfect and only partial amendments were made. Obviously, it it not biblical to “divinize” and rely on Mary for salvation. However, we should not only deny and reject it, but also restore the true truth of God the Mother.  The Protestant churches denied the truth of God the Mother itself.

The Scriptures clearly testify about God the Mother and it is written in Galatians 4:26. However, both Protestant and Catholic churches deny the truth about God the Mother. The former is the one that changed the truth, and the latter that seemingly understands the falsehood of Mary but insists that there is no God the Mother.  When we face the truth, we need the courage to make a decision.

For this people’s heart has become calloused; they hardly hear with their ears, and they have closed their eyes. Otherwise they might see with their eyes, hear with their ears, understand with their hearts and turn, and I would heal them.’ (Matthew 13:15)

When the Jews faced the truth that Jesus was the Savior and God, they became so stubborn and insisted that it’s not true. Pilate, who was a judge, feared the Jews rather than the truth and played a role in Jesus’ death by turning Him over to be executed. Now, how would both the Jews and Pilate regret their choice?

You are facing the truth. Today, Christians turn their faces away from the truth of the Bible and act as if they were the Jews of 2000 years ago with a fixed idea that there is only one God — God the Father.  And some are hesitating to accept the truth although they see it. How about you? Will you persist that what you know is absolutely correct? Or, will you ignore the truth as if you did not know it? Or, will you be reluctant to make a decision because you think it’s difficult to suddenly change your belief?

There is God the Mother. We should receive God the Mother to get salvation. God still gives you an opportunity to become one of the prophets who can join and proclaim this truth.  Don’t be stubborn and don’t be reluctant. The blessings and the privileges to face the truth are given to those who make a brave decision.

Regarding the instance that He cannot die again -Christ Ahnshanghong and God the Mother.

Those who deny the Second Coming Christ, Ahnsahnghong, of the World Mission Society Church of God claim as follows:
The Bible says that “Christ cannot die again.” But Ahnsahnghong passed away.

Therefore, He is not the Second Coming Christ.

However, they insist such a claim because they could not understand the matter of a spiritual body and a natural boy properly and interpreted the Bible wrongly.


If we have been united with him like this in his death, we will certainly also be united with him in his resurrection…. Now if we died with Christ, we believe that we will also live with him. For we know that since Christ was raised from the dead, he cannot die again; death no longer has mastery over him. (Romans 6:5-9)


This Verse means that those who are baptized will receive eternal life which does not die as Christ died and was raised from the dead. Of course, it does not mean that a natural body will live forever. They will live forever without death as God’s children with spiritual bodies.

…and they can no longer die; for they are like the angels. They are God's children, since they are children of the resurrection. (Luke 20:36)

So will it be with the resurrection of the dead. The body that is sown is perishable, it is raised imperishable; it is sown in dishonor, it is raised in glory; it is sown in weakness, it is raised in power; it is sown a natural body [physical body], it is raised a spiritual body. If there is a natural body [physical body], there is also a spiritual body. (1 Corinthians 15:42-44)

The resurrection means that the natural body will be changed into a spiritual body to live for good. Just as a caterpillar is clothed with a new body of a dragonfly, so one who receives God will be changed to a new body which can live forever according to the promise of God.

I declare to you, brothers, that flesh and blood [what is made of flesh and blood] cannot inherit the kingdom of God, nor does the perishable inherit the imperishable. Listen, I tell you a mystery: We will not all sleep, but we will all be changed-- in a flash, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, the dead will be raised imperishable, and we will be changed. For the perishable [what is mortal] must clothe itself with the imperishable [what is immortal], and the mortal with immortality. When the perishable has been clothed with the imperishable, and the mortal with immortality, then the saying that is written will come true: "Death has been swallowed up in victory." (1 Corinthians 15:51-54)

Flesh and blood – visible bodies – cannot inherit the kingdom of God. It’s because we with bodies cannot enter the kingdom of heaven which is the kingdom of the Spiritual God. Therefore, the words “He cannot die again” are not about the natural body but the spiritual body.

Jesus, who had been in a spiritual body, has come a second time in the flesh as He did 2,000 years ago to bring salvation to mankind (Hebrews 9:28.) Those who truly understand and follow the will of God should at least know that the natural body is one thing and the spiritual body is totally another thing.

Choose the path of life- Christ Ahnshanghong and God the Mother.

God has made us known the path of life to save our souls.


You have made known to me the path of life; you will fill me with joy in your presence, with eternal pleasures at your right hand. (Psalms 16:11)


But, the problem is that there is also a path that leads us to death. Moreover, the path of death seems right to a man.


There is a way that seems right to a man, but in the end it leads to death. (Proverbs 14:12)


It's not easy to tell from the path of life from the path of death with our common sense. For this reason, God said that we must forsake our own thoughts and obey God's thoughts.


Let the wicked forsake his way and the evil man his thoughts. Let him turn to the LORD, and he will have mercy on him, and to our God, for he will freely pardon. "For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways," declares the LORD. "As the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts than your thoughts. (Isaiah 55:7-9)


Then, what is the way of life God has showed us?


This is what the LORD says: "Stand at the crossroads and look; ask for the ancient paths, ask where the good way is, and walk in it, and you will find rest for your souls. But you said, 'We will not walk in it.' (Jeremiah 6:16)


Remember the height from which you have fallen! Repent and do the things you did at first [the first works: KJV]. If you do not repent, I will come to you and remove your lampstand from its place. (Revelation 2:5)


Keeping and following the teachings that Jesus granted us at first -- it is the path of life. Some claim, "Isn't it better to celebrate Christmas than not to celebrate any day although it was the birthday of sun-god?” 

Others think it's better to keep Sunday rather than to keep Saturday which is the Sabbath day because most people rest on Sunday and more people can come to God.

There are also people that it doesn't matter to erect a cross because they remember the sacrifice of Christ whenever they see the cross although it was once used as an execution tool and it was even used as a symbol of pagan religion.

But, there are no verses in the Bible which indicate that Jesus was born on December 25th, which specify that the Sabbath was changed to Sunday, or which teach us to erect the cross.

The teaching Jesus taught originally and showed us as an example is the new covenant including the Sabbath day and the Passover.


Please do not forget the words of God: "There is a way that seems right to a man, but in the end it leads us to death." Any other gospel that deviates from the path of life is mere the path of death whatever people make any excuses.

We should forsake our thoughts and acknowledge the ancient path is the good way, and then repent and do the first works: it's the path of life.

The Happy Moments for Families to Share Love Together[Christ Ahnshangong and God the Mother]

In May, called the “month of family” in Korea, when summer was just around the corner, a meaningful event was held at the Okcheon Go&Come Training Institute.

On May 10, the “2nd New Jerusalem Festival for Families” was successfully held; over 12,000 people including the members and their families from the northern areas of Gyeonggi Province were invited to the event.

Under the clear blue sky spread out like a picture, each family gathered together to share food they’d prepared.

After lunch, they spent quality time with their family, taking a look around the Institute and posing for pictures in front of the man-made waterfall pouring down cool refreshing water.

They also took a look at the photos exhibited in the main building and the education hall, through which they found out the present status of the domestic and overseas missions.

In addition, they watched a Church video containing an overview of volunteer activities on the big projector screen installed in front of the Theological Seminary.

Around 1 p.m., the welcoming ceremony began. Mother expressed Her warm welcome and gratitude to the members and their families who participated in the Festival and made the event more meaningful and successful.

She told them about the blessings of the kingdom of heaven, their spiritual home, and expressed Her wish for them to live joyful and happy lives by sharing the blessings of heaven with their loving family members.

General Pastor Joo-Cheol Kim prayed for all the members of each family to be bound together in love and live in peace and harmony. Then he briefly introduced the history of the Church of God, saying that the Church of God believes in God the Mother, following the truth of the Bible.

 In addition, he expressed his hope that they would have a great time with their family members sharing love together and enjoying the beautiful weather and that they would also become bonded together in the heavenly family.

The event started with a magnificent and powerful performance by the Brass Band. It was accompanied by a medley of children’s songs, a fan dance and floral coronet dance by the cute little angels.

Their performances livened up the atmosphere of the event. Then there were performances by the Messiah Orchestra, the 38th Overseas Visiting Group and the United Choir and the Men’s Choir, and it made the event much more enjoyable.

After the performance event, traditional Korea folk games were played in the outdoor soccer field: neolttwigi (seesaw jumping), gulungsoi (trundling a hoop), tuho (arrow throwing game), jegichagi (shuttlecock kicking), ttakjichigi (slap-match game), etc.

All the members of each family, from grandparents to grandchildren, had fun playing the games in spite of the hot sun in early summer.

Church of God (Witness of Ahnsahnghong) believes Ahnsahnghong as our Savior in the age of the Holy Spirit with the belief in Heavenly Mother.  According to the Bible,God the Father and God the Mother who are the Spirit and the bride are to give us the water of life in this last age of the Holy Spirit.  In order to receive the water of life in this age, we should come toward God the Father and God the Mother.
