About the verse “If anyone tells you, 

‘There he is’ or ‘Here he is’”, do not believe it”

Jesus warned that false Christs and false prophets would appear and mislead many people:

At that time if anyone says to you, 'Look, here is the Christ!' or, 'There he is!' do not believe it.


24 For false Christs and false prophets will appear and perform great signs and miracles to deceive even the elect--if that were possible. 
25 See, I have told you ahead of time. 
26 "So if anyone tells you, 'There he is, out in the desert,' do not go out; or, 'Here he is, in the inner rooms,' do not believe it. (Matthew 24:23-26)


However, some unfairly use this verse to oppose the Second Coming Christ.
If, we literally must not believe it when we are told “Here is the Christ”, where do we have to go?

Do we need to go to the place where it says “Here isn’t the Christ and there he isn’t”? 

Are there any churches which do not say “Here is the Christ”?

Therefore, Jesus did not give us this word with the intent that we must deny Christ when He comes in any cases. As written, it’s clearly about warning people of false Christs.
Then, where can we find the true Christ and not false Christs?

And so all Israel will be saved, as it is written:
"The deliverer [Savior: GNT] will come from Zion; he will turn godlessness away from Jacob. (Romans 11:26)

It’s prophesied that the Savior would come from Zion. Where is Zion in which the Savior dwells?

Look upon Zion, the city of our festivals … There the LORD will be our Mighty One… For the LORD is our judge, the LORD is our lawgiver, the LORD is our king; it is he who will save us. (Isaiah 33:20-22)

Zion where the Savior dwells is the place where we celebrate the feasts of God. 
God’s feasts include a weekly feast of the Sabbath and seven annual feasts of the Passover, the Feast of Unleavened Bread, the Day of Firstfruits, the Pentecost, the Feast of Trumpets, the Day of Atonement and the Feast of Tabernacles. 

The place where people celebrate such feasts as written in the Bible is “Zion.”

However, the place where people do not observe the feasts of God while saying “Here is the Christ” is the one where they believe in ‘false Christs’ or ‘another Jesus (2 Corinthians 11:4).’ 

The Bible prophesies as follows about the appearance of Christ who gives us the water of life:

The Spirit and the bride say, "Come!" And let him who hears say, "Come!" Whoever is thirsty, let him come; and whoever wishes, let him take the free gift of the water of life. (Revelation 22:17)

You can meet the Spirit and the bride who give us the water life only in Zion(World Mission Society Church of God).

The Spirit is Christ Ahnshanghong , The Bride is God the Mother.

Jesus is the Lord of the Sabbath [Christ Ahnshanghong is the Lord of Sabbath]

There are those who are not willing to be invited to a wedding ceremony or other events on Sunday.

They have to go to church.

They consider "observing the Lord's Day" as their first value and worship on Sundays.

 It is quite praiseworthy thing that they value worship.

 However, there is something wrong. Biblically, the worship day is not Sunday but Saturday.

Those who mention “the Lord’s Day” frequently cite the following verses:

On the Lord's Day I was in the Spirit… (Revelation 1:10)

They insist that the Lord’ Day is Sunday, knowing the fact that there isn’t a single verse about worship on Sunday.

Then, when is the Lord’s Day?

For the Son of Man is Lord of the Sabbath. (Matthew 12:8; Mark 2:28; Luke 6:5)

Jesus is the Lord of the Sabbath.

 Therefore, the “Sabbath” is the Lord’s Day.

You know, the Sabbath is Saturday in our current calendar system. 

We just need to worship on Saturday because God commanded us to give services on Saturday.

Why do they dare do against the will of God by inventing Sunday?

Remember the Sabbath day by keeping it holy (Exodus 20:8)

God commanded God’s people to keep the Sabbath holy as the Fourth Commandment.

 He has never said that Sunday is “My day.” 

Please remember: the Sabbath is the Lord’s Day.

Christ Ahnshanghong restored the truth of Sabbath. He is the Lord of Sabbath.
We can keep the Sabbath day , the forth commandment, in the World Mission Society Church of God.

Why did Adam and Eve die? [Christ Ahnshanghong and God the Mother]

There lived a happy couple, Adam and Eve,
under the love and protection of God in the Garden of Eden.
One day, the cunning serpent approached them.

The serpent deceived Eve to eat the fruit from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil forbidden by God.
She also gave some to her husband and he ate it.

As a result, they were expelled from the happy Garden of Eden due to the sin of disobedience and lived painful lives.

And they died in the end according to the words of God.

Even non-Christians will know the story of the Garden of Eden.

The Bible says that death came to all people on this earth due to disobedience of Adam and Eve (Romans 5:12.)

Are there any ways to recover life?
Numerous Christian churches emphasize faith, shouting 

“We can be saved as long as we have faith in God! Do you believe?”

Of course, we can have the promise of salvation through faith.

Then, didn’t Adam and Eve believe in God when they ate from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil?

Yes, they did. Adam and Eve and even their descendents had faith in God.

 If such insistence that “we can be saved as long as we have faith” is correct, Adam and Eve should have not died and live happily in the Garden of Eden until now.

This shows that faith alone does not necessarily lead to salvation.

Adam and Eve believed in God. What didn’t they believe?

They did not fully believe in the words of God:

“You must not eat from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, for when you eat of it you will surely die.” 

They suspected the words of God with their own thoughts such as

“Well, that’s not gonna happen. How can I die if I eat from it? It’s good for food and pleasing to my eyes.” 

God wants us to have such faith that we can believe in the words of God absolutely, even the part which may not be possible to believe with the human thoughts.

God judges our faith through the “Passover of the new covenant.”

Jesus said to them,

"I tell you the truth, unless you eat the flesh of the Son of Man and drink his blood, you have no life in you. Whoever eats my flesh and drinks my blood has eternal life, and I will raise him up at the last day. (John 6:53-54)

So the disciples did as Jesus had directed them and prepared the Passover… 
While they were eating, Jesus took bread, gave thanks and broke it, and gave it to his disciples, saying, "Take and eat; this is my body." 

Then he took the cup, gave thanks and offered it to them, saying,

"Drink from it, all of you. This is my blood of the covenant, which is poured out for many for the forgiveness of sins. (Matthew 26:19-28)

God promised that “those who keep the Passover have eternal life.” 

What will you do? Are you going to reject observing the Passover with the thought

“How can we have eternal life with such Passover bread and wine?”


Adam and Eve were kicked out of Eden although they believed in God to the end.


Empty shouting such as “I believe in Jesus only” is not faith! It’s no more than autohypnosis.
True faith is to believe in and follow the words of God—even something that is hard to believe with the thoughts of men.

Christ Ahnsahnghong rebuilt the World Mission Society Church of God by restoring the Passover of New Covenant.

The Bible prophesies that the last place of salvation is Zion (Micah 4:1; Revelation 14:1.) Therefore, each church insists that it’s Zion while its doctrines vary between individual churches.

Where is Zion the Bible testifies about? 

Zion was originally a name of place in the area of Palestine. Actually, there are people who go to Zion in Palestine with the hope of salvation. However, in the age of the new covenant, Zion does not refer to a limited area of Palestine.

Look upon Zion, the city of our festivals
 [the city where we celebrate our religious festivals: GNT]; your eyes will see Jerusalem, a peaceful abode, a tent that will not be moved; its stakes will never be pulled up, nor any of its ropes broken. (Isaiah 33:20)

Prophetically, Zion is the place where we celebrate the feasts of God. In the time of the Old Testament, the sacrifices were offered to God in the earthly Jerusalem.
Therefore, Zion where there was the earthly Jerusalem was the place of feasts.

 However, the center of the feasts of the new covenant is the heavenly Jerusalem.

But you have come to Mount Zion, to the heavenly Jerusalem, the city of the living God. You have come to thousands upon thousands of angels in joyful assembly (Hebrews 12:22)

Jesus also made clear that we will not worship God in the earthly Jerusalem in the age of the new covenant.


“… Our fathers worshiped on this mountain, but you Jews claim that the place where we must worship is in Jerusalem.” Jesus declared, “Believe me, woman, a time is coming when you will worship the Father neither on this mountain nor in Jerusalem. (John 4:20-21)


Then, where is Zion in the age of the new covenant?

In the Old Testament, Zion was the place where the feasts of the old covenant were celebrated. Therefore, in the time of the new covenant, Zion is the place where the feasts of the new covenant are observed.

Jesus fulfilled the feasts of the old covenant to the feasts of the new covenant through His sacrifice on a cross.

In order to complete,
He changed the Passover of the old covenant (when the Passover lamb was sacrificed) to the Passover of the new covenant (when we eat and drink the flesh and blood of Jesus who was the reality of the lamb of the old covenant.)

Jesus fulfilled the prophecy of the Feast of Unleavened Bread, the feast of affliction, through the torture of the cross. And He has been raised from the dead and became the firstfruits of those who have fallen asleep, fulfilling the Day of Firstfruits.

Like this, Jesus fulfilled all prophecies of the seven feasts of three times comprising of the Passover, the Feast of Unleavened Bread, the Day of Firstfruits, the Feast of Weeks, the Feast of Trumpets, the Day of Atonement and the Feast of Tabernacles, and newly established them as the days of celebrating the Redemption Work of Christ.

Churches which do not celebrate the feasts of God as evidenced by the Bible are not Zion. The church that observes the feasts of the new covenant made by Jesus is Zion. 



The World Mission Society Church of God is the only church that celebrates the seven feasts of three times in accordance with the regulations of the new covenant in the world.

“The hidden manna and new name” -Christ Ahnshanghong and God the Mother

God who appeared as a passerby in Abraham’s time and as the one, called Jesus 2000 years ago!  The Almighty God can come in the human form of all times.
Ahnsahnghong appeared as the Savior in the age of the Holy Spirit.

I hope you could confirm why the members of Church of God believe in Him through the Bible.  (Witness of Ahnsahnghong) 


Why does the Church of God believe that the Second Coming Christ is Ahnsahnghong?  The reason is because Ahnsahnghong allowed the eternal life through the Passover, the tree of life to His children who were destined to die.

Let’s study the prophecies about the Second Coming Christ and the Passover through the hidden manna.

Rev. 2:17 “He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches. To him who overcomes, I will give some of the hidden manna. I will also give him a white stone with a new name written on it, known only to him who receives it”

The stone represents Jesus.(1 Pet. 2:4 him, the living stone)

The reality of a new name represents the Second Coming Jesus, the Holy Spirit among the three persons of the trinity.  The appearance of the Second Coming Jesus in the last age is already prophesied in the book of Revelation.

The reason why we should learn the hidden manna is that we need to know who the one by new name is.  The hidden manna should be very important key to find out who he might be.


The Bible is consisted of Old Testament and New Testament.
The Old Testament is the shadow and the New Testament is the reality.
The former plays a role in testifying the New Testament as a model as well as a shadow.


Firstly, let’s confirm what manna in the Old Testament represents.


It is the name of food God allowed for the Israelites for 40 years after the exodus.  Manna that appeared in the Old Testament became a prophecy to find the Second Coming Jesus.

Ex.16:2~31“I will rain down bread from heaven for you. ~ The people of Israel called the bread manna. It was white like coriander seed and tasted like wafers made with honey.”


While living in the wilderness for 40 years, they could keep their physical life through the physical food, manna.

Manna allowed in the Old Testament does not simply end with physical food but rather plays a significant role as a sign to recognize a new name.

Let’s find out the reality of manna the Second Coming Jesus should bring in the New Testament.

Jn. 6:9~15 He fed five thousand people with five small barley loaves and two small fish .
   :24~26 Looking for Jesus on the following day as they were full with bread
   : 30~35 “So they asked him, "What miraculous sign then will you give that we may see it and believe you? What will you do? Our forefathers ate the manna in the desert; as it is written: 'He gave them bread from heaven to eat.”

The Living Bible Jn 6:30~36 “If you want us to believe you as a Messiah, why don’t you show us more miracles? Just as our forefathers were in the dessert, please take care of the food in need every day.

As Jehovah rained down manna from heaven in the Old Testament era, the Israelites asked for Jesus, the son of God to show them manna from heaven as a sign to solve out the food shortage.

Like this, they looked for Jesus only to take care of their physical difficulties.
The manna Jesus promised to give was very His flesh.

Jn. 6:47~51 “~This bread is my flesh, which I will give for the life of the world”

However, when He preached the bread of life to those who were seeking for physical food, they just rejected.

Jn. 6:52 “"How can this man give us his flesh to eat?"  ”
Even though sinners should try to seek the food for eternal life, they rather reject.

This applies the same to Christians today.

Most people go to church to solve out their physical problems rather than to find the spiritual food allowed from Jesus.

Jn. 6:53~55 “Jesus said to them, "I tell you the truth, unless you eat the flesh of the Son of Man and drink his blood, you have no life in you. Whoever eats my flesh and drinks my blood has eternal life, and I will raise him up at the last day. For my flesh is real food and my blood is real drink.’

We could understand that the reality of manna is the flesh and the blood of Christ.

That is, the eternal blessing is contained in the flesh and the blood of Jesus, the reality of manna.


Let’s confirm how we could eat and drink the flesh and the blood.

Therefore, the reality of manna is the Passover.

Like this, the substantial manna was established by the First Coming Jesus through the Passover of the New Covenant.

However, it says that the manna the Second Coming Jesus was supposed to give is “the hidden manna”.  How could we see the hidden one?

That the Passover is hidden from the eye means it was already abolished.
The Passover of life disappeared, for Satan had changed the times and laws of God.

In AD 325 when the Council of Nicaea was summoned by Roman emperor Constantine, they abolished the Passover. (:the hidden manna”= “the abolished Passover)

The Second Coming Jesus must be the one who should bring back the hidden manna.
The one to come (new name) should not bring us the new promise which cannot be found in the Bible but restore the Passover the New Covenant established by the First Coming Jesus.

No one can restore the Passover the New Covenant
Only the Second Coming Jesus who came with a new name could do it.
No matter how erudite the Doctors of Divinity are and how popular the pastors are, they cannot do it.

Isa. 25:6 “On this mountain the LORD Almighty will prepare a feast of rich food for all peoples, a banquet of aged wine~ he will swallow up death forever.”

Among the teachings in the Bible, the wine that allows the eternal life is only the Passover the New Covenant.

“The aged wine” represents “the hidden manna”.

“Surely this is our God; we trusted in him, and he saved us.”

According to the prophecies of the Bible, the Second Coming Christ, the new name should be the one to restore the Passover the New Covenant.

Ahnsahnghong is the Second Coming Jesus who restored the Passover the New Covenant. He taught the Passover that was not known for anyone else in the world.

Flu - Christ Ahnshanghong and God the Mother ♥

I had flu. 


I thought it was similar to a slight cold, however when I had it, it was truly severe.

For days I couldn't even swallow a sip of water, my whole joints seemed to be twisted up as if I was beaten up by someone, my skin was sore as if it was bruised, and I started to fear and said to myself, ‘Oh, at this rate, I could possibly die.’

I imagine Heavenly Mother who is there, beyond over the pain.
How hard and painful She might be everyday, surviving a life-or-death crisis.
I shed endless tears, thinking of myself how I could only realize Mother’s pain after being sick.

Far from taking care of my husband or children, I couldn’t even keep myself steady.
Mother, despite throughout all pains, how could You give that great love to Your children?

Mother cannot be painful even though she is in pain, but I, as a mom, couldn’t do anything for my children.

“Mom, are you really sick?”
“Yeah, I’m sick as if I’m going to die.”

My son looked serious and asked, “Without you mom, who would cook for us?” 

I again started to shed tears seeing my son who was asking an immature question.
He seemed to look like me on the past; complaining to Heavenly Mother, while ignoring Her pain.

Worrying of me being sick, a deaconess bought me some soup.

My eldest child who was enjoying the soup with the spoon that she brought, stopped her brother saying,

“No. Mom is sick so we must give it to her.” 

Nevertheless, I was thankful for what she said.

I was sorry for my children, thinking of how hungry they might have been.

Though they might look immature to others, to me they are my loving son and daughter.

Just how they say you become more mature according to how much pain you have been through, the time of pain that I felt in my bones gave me the realization, making me to look back to myself being spiritually immature.

I want to throw away my immature self, and become a child who gives God the Mother gentle smiles.

Rebel without a Cause - Christ Ahnshanghong and God the Mother.

They call it ‘rebel without a cause’ when the teenagers have twisted behavior while they are in puberty.

I was no exception.

My mom had hard times raising four children all alone.
Even now my face turns red of thinking of how I rebelled against her.

I talked back at her when things didn’t turn out the way I wanted to be, and even though I knew mom’s heart of saying things because she cared about me, I was just distorted.

While having an argument with my mom, I said things that stabbed her like a dagger.

Out of it all, there’s something that I said which hurt my mom most..

“Mom, what did you do for me anyways?”

If I said this, mom couldn’t say anything but only dropped her face down.

So that is why I said it thoughtlessly.

Thinking of how my mom must have felt, I feel so sorry that I want to crawl under a rock.

She loved me before I was born. I wasn’t been able to do anything, and for me she clothed me, fed me, and took care of me all night when I was sick.

Everyday for 365 days; a year, she has gone to so much trouble for me, and those words were too cruel for her.

After receiving the truth, and realizing that I am a sinner who betrayed Heavenly Mother’s love, I recollected my days of puberty.

At that time, I didn’t know why I hurt her and went against my mom, but now I realize.

That image was a partial of me sinning against Heavenly Mother.

I didn’t know how to thank Heavenly Mother who loved me with Her whole heart, and I was a sinner who forgot about Her grace.

Can I also be forgiven?

Though I am a sinner who deserves to die, just because I am her child, I am indebted to her.

I will never again have faith of puberty that will break Mother’s heart.

Thank you Mother. I love you.

God we have been waiting for — Christ Ahnsahnghong

For everyone, the parents’ blood flows in him. We received life by inheriting the blood of parents. It’s the principle: the Providence of God who saves mankind.

The way to inherit the blood of God dates back to the night of the fourteenth day of the first month in the sacred calendar, 2000 years ago. Jesus, who was God but came in the flesh, directed the disciples to prepare the Passover and kept it together with them.

He left a will on the night before He was crucified on the cross and sacrificed Himself on behalf of sinners in order to wash away the sins committed in heaven.

And he [Jesus] said to them, “I have eagerly desired to eat this Passover with you before I suffer. (Luke 22:15)

Jesus made a will by eating “something.” That was the Passover bread and wine. 
Jesus said that the Passover bread becomes His flesh and the Passover wine becomes His blood. He executed what he said earlier: “Whoever eats my flesh and drinks my blood has eternal life.”

God promised that those who keep the Passover will be protected from disasters and also have the forgiveness of sins.  In the time of the Old Testament, the Israelites celebrated the Passover by putting the blood of the lambs on the sides and tops of the doorframes of the houses where they ate the lambs. Now we just need to eat and drink the bread and wine which stands for the flesh and blood of Jesus to keep this feast.

Regrettably, people broke the promise. Moreover, they even reneged on their pledge with God — through the Council of Nicaea in 325 AD.  Since then, no one could have inherited the flesh and blood of God.  The Passover was totally forgotten from people’s minds for over one thousand years. This is why God should come again.

On this mountain the LORD Almighty will prepare a feast of rich food for all peoples, a banquet of aged wine–the best of meats and the finest of wines….  

In that day they will say, “Surely this is our God; we trusted in him, and he saved us. This is the LORD, we trusted in him; let us rejoice and be glad in his salvation.” (Isaiah 25:6-9)

“The aged wine” means that the wine has not been used for a long time.
That is, the Passover had not been celebrated for a long time — for more than 1,600 years. While no one even imagined that we must keep the Passover to become the children of God, it was Christ Ahnsahnghong who taught us the Passover.

Unfortunately, over 1,600 years, people had a wrong recognition that it is heretic to celebrate the Passover. Yet, the truth does not change: we must keep the Passover to have eternal life.

Many Christians often say they preach the gospel.  However, the core of the heavenly gospel that Jesus came to this earth and sent Himself is very the Passover.
Church of God delivers the same teachings as the early church.  Please come to Church of God and keep the Passover. (Matt.26:17)

Is it the teaching of the Bible to be baptized immediately? - the World Mission Society Church of God

Most churches give the baptism after 6 month or 1 year study. Is this teaching Biblical?

The Bible says that we cannot boast about tomorrow and we must be baptized immediately.

Do not boast about tomorrow, for you do not know what a day may bring forth. (Proverbs 27:1)

We really do not know what will happen in a day or even in an hour.
Therefore, baptism is urgently needed for sinners.

Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of (the name of) the Son and (the name) of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. (Matthew 28:19)

Jesus commanded the Disciples to baptize people in the name of the Father and the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and then teach them to obey His commandments. So, it’s not the teaching of Jesus to study the Bible for 6 months or 1 year and then get the baptism.

As soon as we come to realize the Savior of this age, we must be baptized immediately. Why do we need to get baptized first? It’s because baptism is the first step of the life of faith. According to the teaching of Jesus, the disciples also baptized people immediately.

As they traveled along the road, they came to some water and the eunuch said, “Look, here is water. Why shouldn’t I be baptized?” And he gave orders to stop the chariot. Then both Philip and the eunuch went down into the water and Philip baptized him. (Acts 8:36-37)

Philip met the eunuch for the first time. But when the eunuch heard the good news, he got baptized on the road.

At that hour of the night the jailer took them [Paul and Silas] and washed their wounds; then immediately he and all his family were baptized. (Acts 16:33)

The jailer and his family also got baptized immediately at night. Some people say that they cannot get the baptism because they already did. Then, what’s the teaching of the Bible?

So Paul asked, “Then what baptism did you receive?” “John’s baptism,” they replied. Paul said, “John’s baptism was a baptism of repentance. He told the people to believe in the one coming after him, that is, in Jesus.” On hearing this, they were baptized into the name of the Lord Jesus. (Acts 19:1-5)

Paul met some disciples who had been baptized by John the Baptist.
When they heard the good news about Jesus, they got baptized again in the name of Jesus. At that time, since it’s the age of the Son, the Savior was Jesus.
Therefore, they were re-baptized in the name of the Son although they had been baptized before.

Now, we are living in the age of the Holy Spirit and we must be baptized in the name of the Holy Spirit: Christ Ahnsahnghong. Since we are spiritual sinners (Romans 6:23), we must receive the promise of the forgiveness of sins. The whole world celebrates the birthday of Jesus on Dec. 25.

However Christmas is not the birthday of Jesus.

"And there were shepherds living out in the fields nearby, 

keeping watch over their flocks at night." (Lk 2:8)

It is not possible to keep watch over flocks in the fields in the cold winter.

Was Jesus really born on Dec. 25?

Nobody knows when Jesus was born.

The early Christians did not celebrate Jesus's birthday.

Then, what is the origin of Christmas? It originated from a pagan festival.

In other words, Christmas is not the commandment of God.

So we should not celebrate Christmas.

World Mission Society Church of God is not celebrate Christmas.

Against Ahnsahnghong and WMSCOG – “Woman with long hair needs no veil?”

World Mission Society Church of God worshiping Ahnsahnghong and Heavenly Mother (God the Mother) believes that women must cover their heads during worship or prayer.

Some people insist that women do not need to cover their heads because the Bible says, “Long hair is given to women as a covering.”

“but that if a woman has long hair, it is her glory? For long hair is given to her as a covering” (1 Co 11:15).

If a woman with long hair needs no veil to cover her head, how about a woman with short hair? Does she need to cover her head?

Apostle Paul said, "If a woman does not cover her head, she should have her hair cut off.” 

In those days, women with shaved heads were considered as slaves or people who with very low status.

• “If a woman does not cover her head, she should have her hair cut off; and if it is a disgrace for a woman to have her hair cut or shaved off, she should cover her head” (1 Co 11:6).

If a woman did not want her hair cut off, as a disgrace, she would definitely cover her head with a veil. These words can tell us how important it is for a woman to cover her head while worshipping or praying.

• Ask yourselves if it is proper for a woman to pray without something on her head. Isn’t it unnatural and disgraceful for men to have long hair? But long hair is a beautiful way for a woman to cover her head. This is how things are done in all of God’s churches, and that’s why none of you should argue about what I have said.

• Judge for yourselves whether it is proper for a woman to pray to God in public worship with nothing on her head. Why, nature itself teaches you that long hair on a man is a disgrace, but on a woman it is a thing of beauty. Her long hair has been given her to serve as a covering. The original nature of women shows that women should cover their heads.

World Mission Society Church of God keeps the Passover, the Sabbath, Seven Feasts in Three Times, and all regulations taught by God.

Notice it is only the World Mission Society Church of God believing in Christ Ahnsahnghong and Heavenly Mother (God the Mother), that follows the regulations for women covering their heads with veils.

This means that the World Mission Society Church of God is the original church, the early church established by Jesus and in which Jesus’ disciples and apostles attended.

Looking down from the airplane, you can see many crosses on top of buildings. 

The cross has been a symbol of church. Today, colorful crosses also can be found. 

And many people carry crosses around their necks. They say that the cross means life or the cross is a symbol of church. Does really the cross give us life? 

And is it acceptable to set up crosses because it’s a symbol of church? 

Unfortunately, the cross is one of idols God forbade through the Ten Commandments.

You shall not make for yourself an idol in the form of anything … You shall not bow down to them or worship them … (Exodus 20:4)

God even commanded not to make any idols. Therefore, it’s not allowed to make or set up the crosses. Many people think that the crosses were used after Jesus’ Resurrection. However, the crosses had been widely used from ancient Babylon. The following picture shows that Ankh Cross of the Roman Catholic Church was already used in Egypt.

When was the cross introduced into church? The public use of the cross was adopted by the Christians as a symbol at the time of Constantine (“Baker’s Dictionary of Theology”, page 152.) Therefore, the cross was not used in the Early Church.

The bronze snake made by Moses was a copy and shadow, which shows that people would worship crosses (please see the video above.)

Just as Moses lifted up the snake in the desert, so the Son of Man must be lifted up (on a cross), that everyone who believes in him may have eternal life. (John 3:14-15)

Someone might ask, 

“God commanded Moses to set up the bronze snake. Did God make people sinners if the bronze snake was an idol?” 

He did not know the true will of God. Did the bronze snake itself save those who were bitten by snakes? The bronze snake itself had no power to heal people. 

They lived due to the word of God, “Make a snake and put it up on a pole; anyone who is bitten can look at it and live.” 

However, the Israelites did not know this fact and they worshiped the bronze snake until the time of King Hezekiah. King Hezekiah broke the bronze snake into pieces and called it “Nehushtan” (meaning “a piece of bronze.”) The bronze snake was a piece of bronze which could not give blessings or disasters.

Likewise, today many people consider the cross important and think it means life. 

But the cross, like the bronze snake made by Moses, is a mere idol which cannot give us any blessings or disasters. Someone may say, “I do not bow down to it,” but making or setting up the cross is also idolatry.

Cursed is the man who carves an image or casts an idol–a thing detestable to the LORD, the work of the craftsman’s hands–and sets it up in secret (Deuteronomy 27:15)

It is the precious blood of Jesus not the cross that gives us the forgiveness of sins or salvation.

In him we have redemption through his blood [the blood of Jesus], the forgiveness of sins (Ephesians 1:7)

What is the blood of Jesus which gives us the forgiveness of sins?

This [The Passover wine] is my blood of the covenant, which is poured out for many for the forgiveness of sins. (Matthew 26:28)

Jesus established the Passover as the New Covenant (Luke 22:20) for our salvation. 

Without keeping the Passover, we cannot receive the forgiveness of sins. 

However, the Passover of life was abolished at the Council of Nicaea in 325 AD and no one observed the Passover during the Dark Ages. 

In this age, Christ Ahnsahnghong restored the Passover of the New Covenant for the forgiveness of our sins according to the prophecies of the Bible. Today, only the World Mission Society Church of God (WMSCOG) celebrates the Passover of the New Covenant based on the teachings of Jesus. (Some insist that the Passover was already observed before Christ Ahnsahnghong, but their claim is not true. Please refer to this page for this issue.) Please keep the Passover and receive the forgiveness of sins.
