DLSUMC and World Mission hold blood drive for elderly patients - World Mission Society Church of God

DLSUMC and World Mission hold blood drive for elderly patients  February 18, 2014

De La Salle University Medical Center (DLSUMC) was the site of a blood donation drive on January 19 for its elderly patients in the Service Ward.

Initiated by the World Mission Society Church of God, the blood drive aimed to help elderly patients who need blood transfusion due to various illnesses, as well as promote awareness on how the blood that one donates can save lives aside from the healthy benefits that a donor enjoys.

The Blood Bank has reported that a total of 44 bags of 450 cc. blood were collected from the volunteers during this event.

The volunteer service of WMSCOG is very helpful good deed for people's benefits. But, other slanderer speak ill of World Mission Society Church of God. I hope people know that WMSCOG is very sound and wholesome church.

Pompton Lakes Cleanup 2011 Wold Mission Society Church of God (WMSCOG)

Thank You for watching this updated version :-)

On August 28, 2011, Hurricane Irene devastated the neighborhood of Pompton Lakes, NJ, resulting in unprecedented damages—with some houses receiving over 8-feet of water from the swollen Pompton Lakes River. The night before the storm, families were unaware of the dangers around them and remained in their neighborhoods with hopes of waiting out the storm. Early morning, however, when Irene unleashed her fury on the state of New Jersey, the residents had no choice but evacuate their homes.

Volunteers from the Church of God worked arduously for over three consecutive days to help families with work that, as many described, would have taken them weeks and even months to finish on their own. The members also consoled the grieving families, who had lost everything. Through the love and joy that come from God, the members gave hope to the victims who had lost their homes, and restored their dignity.

"With you, I felt like a human being again."

"Heavenly Mother, thank You!"

Through the impressive volunteer works of WMSCOG, all people could feel the love of heavenly Mother's love for all mankind.  Even though many slanderer's hindrances, the truth of World Mission Society Church of God come out in the wash.

Church of God Clean up Campaign at Kamuzu Central Hospital - World Mission Society Church of God

CLEAN UP CAMPAIGN AT KAMUZU CENTRAL HOSPITAL

Presenter
People of the Church of God had a clean up campaign that took place at Kamuzu Central Hospital in Lilongwe. This campaign was carried out in preparation for this coming season when we remember the death of our Lord Jesus Christ. Let us see how this activity was carried out.

All Members shouting: Passover love!! Clean love!!

Deacon Evance
The Church of God believes that every human being need to live a healthy and happy lives. Every year, the church of God hold a clean up campaign before celebrating the Passover which is a command of God. Likewise, this year as we prepare for the Passover that will take place on the 5th of April, we are here proclaiming to all Malawians the Passover which is a way of salvation. We want everyone to come and celebrate the Passover so that they can receive eternal life.

Many people do not know the importance of the Passover. Jesus Christ came down to the earth in the flesh at His first coming and established the Passover of the new covenant and other commands of God. However in the year 325 this Passover was abolished. By this, no one could receive eternal life. Since there was no way of salvation, Christ had to come a second time to restore it. Now we are able to celebrate it at its appointed time because Christ Ahnsahnghong restored it. He is the second coming Christ. So on the 5th of April in this year, all the Children of God around the world will celebrate the Passover.

Sister Mary
Ah, physically the youth are the ones who are very active when doing things. Today, many adult members did not come because of some other programmes. But if you may look around you can still see some adult members who have come to this clean up campaign as you know we do this free willingly.

I want to encourage all the youth in Malawi to hold hands to make sure that as the saying goes " there is power in unity" sometimes people's lives are at risk of contracting cholera because our markets, hospitals and other places are not clean. People do not want to take an initiative to clean these places so we thought we should clean this place.

The Bible said that in the last days many false prophets will rise. Nevertheless, the true prophets will silently come and carry out the will of God. Moreover, you will recognize them through their deeds. Since we are the true children of God who believe in Heavenly Father and Heavenly Mother, we have to show the glory of Father and Mother to Malawi and to the whole world through our good deeds.
Healthy Officer
We face a lot of challenges in trying to maintain cleanliness at this hospital. Some of the problems are lack of cleaning materials. We try as much as possible to make use of the readily available materials though they are not enough. Sometimes the workers are not enough and this also contributes to the challenge of making this place clean.

Let me thank people of the Church of God for coming to help us clean this place today. I do not take this for granted. I know they have works to do in their homes or maybe at church. But they have come here leaving all only to help us. I am really grateful. Thank you Church of God for coming to Kamuzu Central hospital. Lastly, I ask them to continue doing this and they should do to others just as they have done to us. I ask God to always guide them and that all people should take it as an example.

All members shouting: Ahmon!!!! we love you. We love you, we love ahmon, we love Ahmon!!!

Presenter
Those were the people of the Church of God who were cleaning at Kamuzu Central Hospital trying to set us an example. I hope that everyone of us will do as they have done....

Clean-up prayers are answered! - World Mission Society Chruch of God

Clean-up prayers are answered!

PEOPLE power saw 80 volunteers clean up Clarksfield as part of a worldwide campaign to rid streets of rubbish.

Members of the Trafford-based World Mission Society Church of God decided to lend a hand after reading in the Chronicle about reported litter problems in the area.
The mass clean-up comes amid fierce debate between Oldham politicians as to who is

The Lib-Dems’ alternative budget proposes employing two extra enforcement officers to tackle litter and fly-tipping and £135,000 for more Street Scene staff to keep Oldham clean.

But Labour councillors claim the tough financial position the council finds itself in does not allow the luxury of employing staff to clear up after residents — who should keep their own streets clean.

Complaints were raised by Councillor Lynne Thompson who reported Kelverlow, Goss Hall and Ronald and Eric streets as major hotspots.

Councillor Thompson blamed a lack of council resources for the deteriorating problem. Campaigners took matters into their own hands and headed to those streets where they felt their help would be most needed. Around 50 bin bags were packed full of rubbish in three hours. Delighted residents praised the volunteers on the good deed and invited them to “come round more often.”

Others joined in with the clean-up. The volunteers, who pay for their own cleaning tools and transport to get around, have already tidied up areas of Manchester, Bury, London and Newcastle. They are carrying out the environmental campaign to cut pollution and to assist the underprivileged.

Lauren Webb, from the church, said: “When we see a problem area reported in a newspaper, we take it upon ourselves to carry out the mission to clean up that area.”

The clean-up comes at a time when complaints have been made about cuts to Oldham Council’s street-cleaning teams.

Council leader Jim McMahon blasted residents for not taking responsibility.

He said: “Some constituents expect us to start picking up after them. They think we should start with areas where residents don’t look after their own streets. Do not attack the council for not taking action when you don’t take your own.”

Councillor Jean Stretton said there had been a slight increase in litter in certain hotspots of the borough which tend to be those with dense residential properties for obvious reasons.

There are 2,200 churches in 150 countries around the world, all participating in clean ups where they live.

Early Sunday morning the members of the World Mission Society Church of God arrived at the Brighton Dam Azalea Garden to tend the grounds. The five-acre azalea garden, with an amazing tranquil view of the dam, was in great need of some cosmetic help. It received all it needed from “the cheerful people in the yellow shirts,” (neighbors refer to us this way).
They moved in armed with gardening tools and smiles on their faces. About 40 energetic youth members collected countless bags of weeds, raked leaves and pruned dead shrubbery in preparation for the new life arriving in the spring. The local Church of God has been doing volunteer efforts in the state of Maryland for about four years, cleaning up parks, rivers and playgrounds, with the mission to spread the love of Mother.

“I’m very excited to be a part of the community service team at church. We are all like-minded in our determination to glorify God through service. Though we are pulling weeds, which can be a tedious and dirty job, we are all having a ton of fun. We are warming up this wintry gray Sunday with cheers about pulling out weeds and doing good deeds,” comments an enthusiastic member, Michael Miller.
The volunteers from the World Mission Society Church of God worked fast and cheerfully. I should have been wondering why they were so energetic this early in the morning, but instead I wanted to know what motivated them to volunteer throughout Maryland as often as they did?
“Participating in community services like this is a great way to show that we really care.

The Azalea Garden is precious to members of the community and we want to serve our neighbors by taking care of the azaleas to ensure they blossom beautifully this spring,” says Roxanne Libby, a member of the church.

The garden houses about 22,000 azaleas, which typical bloom every year around Mother’s Day. A trip inside this beautiful garden will have any one in a peaceful and serene mood.
I’m sure the neighbors and local wildlife will appreciate the help they have received from the church. Thanks to the volunteers of the church the Brighton Azalea Garden has gotten an early start on its spring-cleaning.
