The World Mission Society Church of God is a cult? (Paradigm of Heresy)

Did you know Jesus had been a cult leader in the eyes of the Jews 2,000 years ago? The Apostle Paul was also branded as a ringleader of a cult and persecuted by the established religious power.
During the Dark Ages, many people had been killed by a group of institutions within the judicial system of the Roman Catholic Church. Actually, the Catholic Church slaughtered over 50 million (some estimates “over 150 million”) Christians. We can understand how dangerous it is to brand a group as a ‘heresy’.
Unfortunately, the same happens today. You might have encountered some websites claiming that the World Mission Society Church of God is a cult. However, most of their claims are based on false information or misunderstanding. For example, a man named Steven Hassan, a “self-proclaimed” cult expert, is attacking the WMSCOG with false testimonies of so-called ex-members (please refer to this page). Those who do not know the Church well might think that the World Mission Society Church of God is really a bad church that destroys families. However, the World Mission Society Church of God follows the teachings of the Bible and has tried to share the love of God by showing an example to the world.
The judgement should be made according to the Bible. The Bible is the only criteria for determining whether an organization is a cult or not. The World Mission Society Church of God observes the New Covenant Passover according to the teachings of Jesus. He stressed the importance of the Passover by saying “I have eagerly desired to eat this Passover with you (Luke 22:15).” Through the Passover of the New Covenant, we can have the forgiveness of sins (Matthew 26:28.) Therefore, the Passover is vital to sinners who are destined to die. Nonetheless, no churches except the WMSCOG celebrate the Passover today.
And the World Mission Society Church of God observes the seventh-day Sabbath day [Saturday] according to the teachings of the Bible. God even designated the Sabbath day as a sign between God and the people of God (Exodus 31:13). Most churches worship on Sunday, but Sunday is not based on the Bible (please refer to this page). Can we be saved if we follow a man-made rule such as Sunday service? We must consider it carefully which church is true in the eyes of God.
Whatever others say, it’s important to follow the teachings of God and to please God. So the Apostle Paul said, “If I were still trying to please men, I would not be a servant of Christ.” We should do the will of God to enter the kingdom of heaven, not follow man-made rules such as Sunday service and Christmas.
Do you want to have the forgiveness of sins? Then, please know at the door of the World Mission Society Church of God and believe in Christ Ahnsahnghong who brought us the Passover for our salvation.
